This year we succeed to re – connect with the Ukrainian market. The work and investment into the Ukrainian market lead to good results, as we are among the other things established a new representative’s network.
We signed a contract for supply of five shotblasting machines with Ukrainian company. One machine was sold in cooperation with Slovenian company Riko d.o.o. All together there are two standard shotblasting machines and four projects. Most of the shotblasting machines will be delivered by the end of this year. The value of this business is app. 3 million €.
The first company is a leading Ukrainian company that offers a full range of services in the field of design, manufacture and assembly of wide range of steel structures and project management in the Ukrainian construction industry. They own five companies; in three of these companies we have sold five machines. There are three free-flowing machines with rollers, one of them is designed for shotblasting larger steel constructions and the other two are designed for shotblasting profiles and steel sheets and also two shotblasting machines with free flowing trolley which will be used for shotblasting very large steel workpieces.
The largest machine of the last-mentioned is named PPV 2600 x 2100 which means, that workpieces with a maximum height of 2,6 m and width of 2,1 m can be blasted with this machine. Maximum length of the workpiece can be as much as 18m. Workpieces will be lead through the machine with trolleys.
Total installed power is app. 233 kW, with the fact that there are 16 turbine wheels installed on the machine, which will ensure equally coverage of workpiece with blast jet. Full operation of the machine is managed via electrical cabinet or using Siemens control program which enables different settings of the machine, as well as organization of the programs through which the operator can choose the working regime on the workpiece basis which will be shotblasted.
The other company OJSC “Turboatom” with more than 5,000 employees from Ukraine is one of the world leading companies in manufacturing turbines. It is specialized in the manufacture of turbines for power stations, nuclear power and hydropower. It is located in Kharkov, which is the largest industrial, scientific and cultural center of Ukraine. We sold there shotblasting machine with rotating hook which is named VK 4500 x 3500 MS. The machine will be used for shotblasting castings of the largest dimensions with diameter 4500 mm and height 3500 mm. Maximum casting weight may be as much as 10 tons. Height of the machine is 10,8 m and has built in 6 turbine wheels with total power 132 kW. Special feature of the machine is also a magnetic separator which is used for separation or cleaning foundry sand from abrasive. Next to the machine will be located also filter with power 22 kW and capacity of 27,000 m3 / h.
New solutions and custom made shotblasting machines, quality working of shotblasting machines, quality after sales service and spare parts will strengthen our position in the Ukrainian market and will enable our future cooperation. Beside that we also recon on the new representative network in Ukraine and expect to give us good results in the future.
